A very special Jazz Percussion event at Kunstfabrik Schlot. A lot’s of exciting grooves, Latin rhythms and Jazz … many are the influences. The Quartet with musicians from different countries is proposing mostly standards and beautiful original compositions. The main characteristic is the unexpected dynamics and the intuitive dialog between the four musicians. Tino and Andrea have toured together in many diverse situations and also in Italy with Frank Gambale and many others.

Tinoderado_12_17One of the best German pianist TINO DERADO graduated at the Berklee College of Music (Boston) and the New School (New York) collaborated with Gary Burton, Peter Erskine, Rebekka Bakken, Matthew Garrison, Till Brönner, NDR Big Band and many others.

Two of his tunes are included in both “The European Real Book“ and “The Digital Real Book part 2“. He recorded many albums and two critical acclaimed Cds with legendary Major Label Verve/PolyGram.

JONATHAN ROBINSON – bass
has enriched already countless albums and bands. He has performed with many artists including Jerry Bergonzi, Bob Moses, Matt Maneri, Archie Shepp, George Garzone, Rick Margitza, Marcus Belgrave, Jeff „Tain“ Watts, John Tchicai, David Gilmore, Daniel Carter, Onaje Alan Gumbs, Gene Bertoncini.
With the first CD under his name he is stepping in the footprints of the great bassists/composers in Jazz . In short: Jonathan Robinson plays himself on Spatial Stasis and in this way creates his own musical universe for himself – and for his musicians and audience: Out of space, deep into space, real in motion. As you like it. Let yourself be seduced!“
