Contemporary Jazz

Four diverse musical souls from different countries will meet again,
going on a Jazz journey of original compositions and famous Jazz standards.
Beautiful themes and exciting Jazz Moods … many are the influences,
from Bill Evans, Keith Jarrett, Miles Davis, Michael Brecker, Wayne Shorter to Anton Carlos Jobim.
The main characteristic of this very special Berlin bases Quartet, is the swing but also the unexpected dynamics and the intuitive dialog between the four musicians. They performed together in countless different situations, including tours with Frank Gambale and Rick Margitza.


Während des Studiums kam es zum Engagement in der NDR-BigBand und dem Bundesjazzorchesters. In der NDR-BigBand arbeitete er u.a. in Projekten mit Dino Saluzzi, Joe Pass, Mike Stern, Michael Gibbs, Wolfgang Dauner, Peter Herbolzheimer, Barbara Thomson zusammen und ging mit ihnen auf Tour. Neben den Konzerten lag der Schwerpunkt auf Studioarbeit für Radioproduktionen.

born in Messina/Sicily, but resident in Rome since 40 years. Fulci collaborated with Oscar winner Film composer Ennio Morricone for over 10 years, touring with him all over the world and recording piano or keyboards on all of Morricone’s films in those 10 years, including Tornatore’s films: Malena, The Legend of 1900, The unknown woman, Baaria, The best offer etc Fulci is also an accomplished composer and he wrote soundtracks for Titania Produzioni and Notorius Ares film, for TV RAI 1. Fulci used to play with Marcelli since the ’80s in Rome.

has enriched already countless albums and bands. He lived and worked in New Orleans, New York and he is a Berlin resident. He has performed with many artists including Jerry Bergonzi, Bob Moses, Matt Maneri, Archie Shepp, George Garzone, Rick Margitza, Marcus Belgrave, Jeff „Tain“ Watts, John Tchicai, David Gilmore, Daniel Carter, Onaje Alan Gumbs, Gene Bertoncini.


Drummer/composer ANDREA MARCELLI moved to the USA in 1989, spending
eight years in Los Angeles and four in New York City. He has resided
in Berlin since 2001. Two of his tunes are included in both “The
European Real Book“ and “The Digital Real Book part 2“. He is leading
an active international musical life, performing with Wayne Shorter,
Don Menza, Allan Holdsworth, Mike Stern, Bob Mintzer, Eddie Gomez,
Ralph Towner, Eberhard Weber, Markus Stockhausen, Palle Danielsson,
John Patitucci, Mike Mainieri, Hiram Bullock, Frank Gambale, Andy
Summers and others. He recorded many albums and two
critical acclaimed Cds with legendary Major Label Verve/PolyGram.
His latest album „The Invisible Child“ 2018.
