For a few months now Eva Fernández has been working shoulder to shoulder with the guitarist Josep Munar creating original songs inspired by the poetry of Alfonsina Storni, Alejandra Pizarnik and Julio Cortázar, among others. In this show she presents what will be her forthcoming album: a trio where she sings and plays soprano sax accompanied by the electric guitar and the drums. The trio is the result of a search for the balance that forms the music: melody, harmony and rhythm, placing equal importance on each element.
Accompanying Eva Fernández are two Mallorcans resident in Barcelona, Josep Munar and Enric Fuster. Together they seek an organic sound, putting the song centre stage without sidelining improvisation, which is something they feel very comfortable with.
