Finally Starting again the live concerts in Berlin at the great Schlot Jazz Club on July 20th at 9PM!! A special return, Jazz Trio Concert featuring refined pianist Ludovico Fulci from Sicily, solid bassist Jonathan Robinson from New Orleans and international drummer Andrea Marcelli from Rome and New York.
Either famous Jazz and film compositions or original music!!
This Jazz Trio wishes to convey with the music, positive and energetic feelings to the listener to bring everybody to a wonderful time together!! Influences from Bill Evans, Keith Jarrett and Ennio Morricone. Expect Contemporary, Latin and Hard Bop Jazz and a lot of swing!!
Drummer/composer ANDREA MARCELLI moved to the USA in 1989, spending eight years in Los Angeles and four in New York City. He has resided in Berlin since 2001. Two of his tunes are included in both “The European Real Book“ and “The Digital Real Book part 2“. He is leading an active international musical life, performing with Wayne Shorter, Don Menza, Allan Holdsworth, Mike Stern, Bob Mintzer, Eddie Gomez, Ralph Towner, Eberhard Weber, Markus Stockhausen, Palle Danielsson,
John Patitucci, Mike Mainieri, Hiram Bullock, Frank Gambale, Andy
Summers and others. He recorded many albums and two critically acclaimed Cds with legendary Major Label Verve/PolyGram.

Ludovico Fulci – piano born in Messina/Sicily, but resident in Rome since 40 years. Fulci collaborated with Oscar winner Film composer Ennio Morricone for over 10 years, touring with him all over the world and recording piano or keyboards on all of Morricone’s films in those 10 years, including Tornatore’s films: Malena, The Legend of 1900, The unknown woman,
Baaria, The best offer etc Fulci is also an accomplished composer and he wrote soundtracks for Titania Produzioni and Notorius Ares film, for TV RAI 1. Fulci has played with Marcelli since 1985 in Rome.
