Closely intertwined saxophone lines, colorful and always moving harmonies, playful rhythms. That’s how the music of „Matthias Meyer’s Niemandsland“ can be described. In his compositions, Meyer spans long musical arcs, tells compelling stories and always tries to share his own vulnerability with the audience. The stories are brought to life through the interplay of the five musicians who met during their studies at the „Jazz Institut Berlin“.
