Ramiro Zayas ist ein argentinischer Pianist und Komponist, ausdrucksstark in seiner Interpretationskunst und vielfältig in seinem komponierenden Können. Er ist zweifelsohne einer der neu gekommenen internationallen Künstler, der die Kunstszene der Musikhauptstadt Berlin weiter bereichern wird. Davon konnte er bereits bei «Rio Interior», seiner ersten in 2019 produzierte CD, mit herausragenden Virtuosen der Buenos-Aires-Jazz-Szene, seine begeisterten Zuhörer überzeugen.
An diesem besonderen Musikabend interprätiert das Ramiro-Zayas-Ensemble Meisterwerke der lateinamerikanischen Musiktradition, spannend mit freien und virtuosen Improvisationen geladen, in denen der Jazzgeist, impressionistische Farben und das Wesen der Messiaen-Musik zu spüren sind.

Gon Muruaga is an electric guitar player, composer and improviser, based in Helsinki. He has collaborated with musicians in the Jazz scene and free improvisation. In his album „Postales de un viaje sin retorno“ he showed his compositions that create unique interesting sound landscapes. In his duo Duende he explores the use of electronic sounds, sound modeling, and DSP development to create a modern and attractive musical language, in collaboration with Miguel Crozzoli. At the moment, he is collaborating with the 3D artist Gonzalo Diaz-Palacios and he is also active in the classical contemporary music scene in Tallinn and Helsinki, creating compositions inspired by Pauline Oliveros and Kaija Saariaho. His piece „4 esencias“ was performed in an Ambisonic sphere installation using MAX MSP to do live sound manipulation.

Heliä Mailiis Viirakivi is a Finnish singer-flutist performer and improviser based in Estonia/Finland. Viirakivi received a master’s degree in music from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theater in 2022 and she possesses a musician ́s diploma from the Conservatory of Helsinki. Her artistic work relates to contemporary classical, modern music and improvisation and she also diversely performs vocal repertory of various kinds such as folk, gospel and operatic music. Viirakivi is an active collaborator in contemporary classical and improvisation fields and an enthusiastic performer of multidisciplinary art projects that aim to find connections with music and other arts.
